Life-threatening injuries reported

DUNDALK — County officials alerted local media that a person was rescued from a pool Saturday in Sparrows Point.

At 5:10 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene on the 9000 block of Cuckold Point Road for an “open water rescue.”

A medevac was initially called and crews were preparing for a landing site for the helicopter around 5:45 p.m. After the person was pulled out of the pool — before 6 p.m., the call for an airlift was canceled.

Baltimore County Fire Department reported that an individual was transported by ambulance for treatment at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
