Police investigating Middle River shooting

MIDLE RIVER—A man has been transported to an area hospital after receiving a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Officers responded to the 9800 block of Langs Road, 21220 at 8:52 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, after neighbors heard shots fired.

The victim, an adult man, flagged down a pedestrian on Sopwith Drive to get help. He was transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the upper body.

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Anyone with information should call 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward when submitting tips through Metro Crime Stoppers.

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland, an organization that is separate from the Baltimore County Police Department and Baltimore County Government, offers rewards of up to $2000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges in connection with felony offenses.
