WHITE MARSH—Baltimore County Police continue to investigate a car crash that occurred in White Marsh that has now left one man deceased.

Officers from the White Marsh Precinct were called to Belair Road and Virginia Avenue, 21236, just before 10:30 p.m. on December 1, for a serious injury crash.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2017 Hyundai was heading southbound on Belair Road when the driver of the 2019 Volkswagen attempted to make a left turn onto north Belair Road from Virginia Avenue. The Hyundai struck the Volkswagen on the driver’s side.

The driver of the Volkswagen, Eddie Louis Bibbs (54) of the 7500 block of Marks Avenue, 21236 was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center with life threatening injuries. He succumbed to his injuries on December 7.

The three passengers in the Hyundai were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Hyundai did not report any injuries.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team is continuing their work to determine all of the factors involved in this fatal crash.
