After reports of an explosion, Baltimore County firefighters rushed to the scene of a fire at Dundalk’s Back River Wastewater Treatment Plant on March 15.

According to the county’s fire department, units arrived to the 8200 block of Eastern Avenue at the plant around 11:30 a.m. Officials described the incident as a two-alarm fire at a commercial building that came with an explosion.
