PERRY HALL — The future Angel Park is expected to be completed in spring 2015, and on Friday, Oct. 17, a sign was erected stating the location of the park, “Right here.”
Opening next to the Perry Hall Branch Library, 9685 Honeygo Blvd., Angel Park will be an all-inclusive creative playground and amphitheater. The design will be based on the input given from local schoolchildren back in May.
The park began from an idea that came to Kelli and Andy Szcybor after the loss of their 15-month old baby boy, Ryan, to Leukemia.
“This community is really special,” Kelli Szcybor said. “When someone needs something, there seems to always be someone willing to help out.
The new sign also features the current top four donors to the project, The Cole Foundation, The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, the Amirault Family, and an anonymous donor. The sign is expected to be updated in a few months and will list the top donors at that time.
“This is going to be the best park in the county,” said volunteer and Candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates Bill Paulshock. “I guarantee it.”

“There is no other park that is going to be like this,” Kelli Szcybor said.
