ESSEX — Baltimore County police resolved an incident on Nov. 21 that involved an armed subject barricaded inside of his vehicle, according to a press release. The subject, who appeared to be in crisis, was taken into custody and transported to an area hospital for evaluation.
Police sought the individual in connection with reports of property damage on the evening of Nov. 20.
At around 11 p.m. on Nov. 20, officers responded to the 11000 block of Crossroads Circle in Middle River for a report of shots fired, and found property damage at the listed location. The subject had left the scene. No one was injured.
At 11:24 p.m. on Nov. 20, officers responded to the 8900 block of Kelso Drive in Essex for a firearm discharge report, and found property damage to the district courthouse in Essex. No one was injured.
At 11:54 p.m. the same night, officers responded to a firearm discharge in the unit block of Nakota Court.
As the search for the subject continued, officers received a report of a suspicious vehicle at 5:35 a.m. the next day and responded to the location near Dulaney Valley Road and Jarrettsville Pike to secure the area. Several roads in the area were closed as officers addressed the matter.
