As the school year winds down, Baltimore City Public Schools recently held its 34th annual High School Art Exhibition awards ceremony that recognized the artistic creativity of dozens of local students.

Awards were presented in various areas, including: James B. Laubheimer Awards; BCPS Awards; Superintendent’s Awards; Excellence in Water Media Awards; and Azrael Franz Schwab Lipowitz & Solter-sponsored awards.

The juried exhibition, which will remain on display at Goucher College’s Rosenberg Gallery through June 2, features more than 100 pieces of artwork by students across the county, according to a BCPS statement. The gallery will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The exhibition and awards were presented by BCPS in partnership with Azrael Franz Schwab Lipowitz & Solter LLC, Baltimore County Commission on Arts and Sciences, Baltimore Watercolor Society, The Education Foundation of BCPS, Inc. and Goucher College.
