MIDDLE RIVER — Fire agencies responded after a 2012 Ford Taurus crashed into a public school building at 4:14 p.m. on Nov. 4 in Middle River, according to county officials.
The driver lost control of her car and crashed into a tree, and then the Crossroads Center building, located at the 11600 block of Crossroads Circle. The incident occurred during dismissal.
No one was was injured in the crash, and there was no structural damage to the building, according to an official with Baltimore County Public Schools. County offices gave an “all clear” to the school, providing for a return to normal operations on Nov. 5.
Furthermore, no charges have been filed or citations issued at this time, an official with the Baltimore County Police Department said.
In a Nov. 5 letter to parents and guardians, school principal Jay Ward said to contact the school if anyone has any questions.
“Thank you for your continued support of your students and of Crossroads Center,” Ward said.
